Description:

Supervise the quality control inspectors (3-4) in the assigned shift, which includes handling all personnel and policies. Ensure teams follow established rules for handling quality control issues in a timely manner by providing on the floor support. Coordinate control of product during inspection and disposition including making decisions to halt production or hold product. First-line investigation of production issues, non-conformances, failure analysis, etc. Assign work to employees and oversee schedules under the guidance of the QA Manager. Train new employees in the quality control department on proper testing procedures and safety habits. Handle day-to-day quality assurance activities during manufacturing and inspection of products. Offer feedback on procedures and recommend improvements to management. When applicable, implement testing procedures as outlined by manager and according to industry standards. Will perform QC inspection duties when a team member is out of the office (measurements, label inspection, visual inspection procedures, etc.)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

HS Diploma Required 3-10 years Quality experience in an FDA regulated field (Med Device or Pharma preferred). Demonstrated Quality mindset, problem solving, root cause analysis, familiarity with investigations of non-conformances. Ideally 2+ years of quality leadership (Team Lead/Supervisor) experience and dealing with personnel issues.
