Essentia Health Certified Nursing Aide - Benet Hall (0.6 FTE) Nights in Duluth, Minnesota

Job Description:

As a team member, will provide personal care services to the residents and provide related tasks in accordance with a plan of care as assigned and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Responsible to care for the resident’s personal hygiene, promote a safe, healthy environment and to support the mission and goals of the Benedictine Sisters Benevolent Association.

Education Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year Home Health Aide and/or Nursing Assistant Registered experience required unless recently certified.

West Market:

  • Previous hospital, nursing home or home health experience.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

East Market:

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

  • Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.

  • Proof of current motor vehicle insurance.

Benet Hall and Solvay Hospice House:

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

  • Current Minnesota state registration as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing assistant with the completion of 80 hours of Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program that meets federal guidelines.

Duluth Hospice:

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification or the ability to obtain in one month from hire date.

  • Active certification on the Wisconsin State Registry with the ability to obtain certification on the Minnesota Registry within 3 months of hire date, OR Active certification on the Minnesota State Registry with the ability to obtain certification on the Wisconsin State Registry within one year of hire.

East Range Hospice:

  • Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program or current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification or the ability to obtain in one month from hire date

  • Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.

  • Proof of current motor vehicle insurance.

West Market:

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.

  • Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.

  • Proof of current motor vehicle insurance.

  • Detroit Lakes and Graceville: Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.

EH Moose Lake:

  • Department 14000: Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency. Proof of current motor vehicle insurance.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
