Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Earned Value Program Control Manager – Level 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite in Dulles, VA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all program control and earned value program business management activities, including partnering with scheduling and cost control, program office, and Control Account Managers (CAMs) to ensure compliant implementation with earned value policies and procedures and accurate financial metrics. They will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of program control analysts. This position will report to the Program Business Manager.

Specific duties responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the following:

  • Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking and analysis

  • Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines

  • EVMS reporting, internal and external, including IPMR

  • Leadership and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff

  • Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review

  • Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts

  • Compliance audit support, internal and external

  • On-going collaboration with internal and external customers as well as functional teams

  • Collaboration with Directors and Program Managers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting or program control - OR - a Master's degree with 4+ years of industry related experience. Additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Professional experience with implementing Earned Value Management on a program

  • Experience with COBRA Earned Value Management system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance

  • Experience with Cognos Financial Forecasting System and CostPoint

  • Experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development

Salary Range: $115,000 - $172,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
