JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State DuBois (https://dubois.psu.edu) Office of Enrollment Management is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant (20 hours per week, may have increased hours based during peak times). The primary duties for this position are to manage and facilitate the Federal Work Study Program on campus. Job DutiesThe Administrative Assistant works closely with Work Study supervisors and students through the awarding and hiring processes.

  • The successful incumbent will coordinate the details with the supervisor about the position to create the job requisitions as well as assist the students with the entire application and onboarding process.

  • There will also be ongoing communication with work study supervisors regarding the timeline throughout the year and for various inquiries regarding these positions from both the supervisors and students.

  • Other duties include assisting with New Student Orientation programs held on campus and supporting the reception area of the Enrollment Services office suite.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Typically requires a High School Diploma or higher and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft office products is preferred.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to working with a diverse audience.

  • The individual must be organized and detail-oriented, demonstrate initiative and enjoy working in and contributing to a highly collaborative, creative, and fun-loving environment.
