Accounts Receivable Specialist

Compensation: $50 - 60K

Job Description: To succeed in this AR Specialist position, you will need to be a natural leader driven a strong sense of accomplishment, and a focused, detail-oriented thinker with a background in accounting, finance, or business administration. You will report to the Accounting Manager. This is a contract role with potential for full-time placement in the Columbus, OH area. Robert Half s seeking a Collections Specialist to become an integral part of the team at an established successful company.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of prior high volume B2B collections experience

• Expertise in collecting payment from customers and accurately recording transaction

• Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on analyses

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP’s)

• A positive attitude, adaptability, willingness to learn & grow, and an adventurous mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner

• Processing due invoices for payments

• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
