Why this job matters

As the Senior Procurement Manager for Property, Utilities, Power & Cooling, you will be responsible for leading and managing the procurement strategy and activities within BT Sourced. Your role is crucial in providing procurement expertise and implementing procurement frameworks, policies, and procedures. This position involves maintaining senior-level relationships with key suppliers to ensure procurement excellence and delivering value to BT and its external customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement activities within the Property, Utilities, Power & Cooling verticals

• Policy Implementation: Oversee the implementation of procurement policies and procedures

• Supplier Management: Manage key supplier relationships to ensure procurement excellence

• Stakeholder Engagement: Secure and maintain stakeholder engagement for procurement initiatives

• Operational Efficiency: Enhance operational efficiency through strategic procurement practices

The skills you'll need

• Proven experience in procurement management, ideally within the property, utilities, power, and cooling sectors.

• Strong background in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies.

• Demonstrated success in managing senior-level supplier relationships.

• Experience in securing stakeholder engagement and buy-in for procurement initiatives.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
