About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Outlet General Manager to join our team at our Greek Restaurant in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab . The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner (which is consistent with operating policies and procedures and delivers service excellence)

  • Ensures team maintains a consistent cleaning regime. Record stock levels and comply with stock audit requirements

  • Monitor food hygiene standards and take proactive steps to maintain them and maintain an approach of continuous development to sustain the best hygiene standards

  • Monitor the profitability of the outlet. Identify areas and gaps for continuous improvements, provide recommendations and/or solutions to improve them and assist with implementing such corrective measures. Take initiatives to sustain them

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other Colleagues

  • Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages and service offered to guests and escalating any major problems/ complaints to senior management to ensure high service quality as per Jumeirah group quality standards

  • Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Jumeirah group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests

  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures. Provide instructions and guidance to subordinates where necessary. Monitor Colleague’s adherence to relevant policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or a high-end beach club, demonstrating a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, preferably within a pre-opening setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a language fluency preference in Greek.

  • Excellent leaderships skills, with a strong working knowledge of personnel management, holding briefings, setting targets and conducting team performance evaluations.

  • Ability to oversee and optimize multiple outlets simultaneously, while collaborating with the chefs to innovate, improve menu offerings and monitor the communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
