About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Housekeeper to join the Housekeeping Team in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage day-to-day operation of the department, ensuring all service standards are met in line with standard operating procedures.

  • Participate in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan to ensure housekeeping operation is adequately represented.

  • Liaise with other managers in the Rooms Division to monitor service quality, plan unique guest experiences and to discuss operational problems to maximise guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor and analyse products and offerings of competitive hotels (local and international) to benchmark and keep up to date with the latest trends to maintain competitive advantage.

  • Ensure cleanliness standards throughout the hotel are kept at the highest standard including (but not limited to) Rooms, Public Areas and Back of House.

  • Ensure the department is as productive as possible, ensuring Rooms profitability is achieved.

  • Understands the impact of the department’s operations on the SBU financial goals and objectives and manages the department to achieve/exceed budgeted goals.

  • Responsible for preparing, reviewing, updating, and maintaining departmental budgets, policies and procedures, operations manuals, training plans, audits and checklists and ensuring strict compliance with quality control standards.

  • Ensure all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations are strictly enforced in line with Jumeirah HS&E standards to ensure guests' and colleagues’ safety.

  • Effectively oversee the control of cleaning supplies and guest supplies (receiving, recording, handling, and storage) to minimise losses and maximise the use of resources.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Housekeeping with a luxury 5-start property, managing a large volume of rooms.

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
