What does a Remanufacturing Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola? As a Remanufacturing Technician II, you will play a crucial role in the process of remanufacturing Coca-Cola coolers and fountain equipment to extend their lifecycle, improving supply chain and reducing environmental impact. As a Technician II, you play a crucial role in the process of remanufacturing beverage equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets or exceeds industry standards. You will be responsible for repairing/replacing parts of the equipment enabling it to operate like new. This position offers excellent opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform necessary repairs or replacements of worn or damaged parts, including the replacement of seals, gaskets, and electrical components
  • Implement strict quality control measures to guarantee the performance and reliability of remanufactured equipment. Use precision instruments to verify accuracy
  • Reassemble fountain beverage equipment, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned, fastened, and sealed. Follow manufacturer guidelines for assembly procedures
  • General bodywork on the equipment, including sanding, masking, and decal application
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and accurately create and complete work orders to support equipment sales
  • Inspect all components for wear, damage, or defects. Conduct tests and diagnostics to identify any issues and document findings
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements * High School Diploma (or GED) High School Diploma or GED equivalent required * Lift up 50lbs repetitively * Operate and/or use a variety of hand and power tools * Previous experience in beverage equipment repair, maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable * Mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Knowledge of electrical systems and components is a plus
