The Commercial Operations latam leader is responsible to lead latam customer service and supply chain organization driving customer order entry, commercial executon to support customer satisfaction and revenue. This position provides an opportunity to learn commercial execution and learn Danaher Business System.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth and effective communication and partnerships within commercial operations team (customer service, supply chain, etc.) and other functional partners such a sales, manufacturing plants etc.

  • Responsible for the efficient, effective and customer focused operation of the Order to Cash process with a focus on customer order intake, order management, backlog management, fulfillment (import/ export) , and billing.

  • Responsible for achievement of Latam Annual revenue target together with sales

  • Drive conversion of available inventory (stocks in Hand + GIT) into sales. Mitigate any blocks through customer engagement and where needed through sales & support from other functions.

  • Drive operational excellence and continually improve the commercial end-to-end processes using DBS tools to enable business growth and remove waste, collaborating with sales and business unit partners.

  • Implement and sustain standard global processes considering the specifics of business in Latam (i.e. Order to cash process/ import/export control, VAT, etc.).

  • Engage in key business initiatives including the implementation of e-commerce, process automation, improve visibility end to end for our customers.

  • Support of Sales in roll-out price rises and surcharges per management instruction

  • Personally supporting associates to ensure Safety and Compliance policy’s upheld.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years work experience in Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Support, Business, or similar field.

  • (5 - 10 years) Leadership and supervisory experience in prior operational role (commercial, customer service, supply chain, warehouse)

  • Latam Supply chain knowledge

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, influence, and ability to effectively inspire change

  • Willingness to travel 25% and work flexible hours to accommodate global schedules

  • Solid understanding ERP processes and systems, significant preference for SAP®,

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Solid experience in leading a team with proven expertise in running Commercial Operations function across EMEA (Order entry, customer order management, Supply Chain, trade compliance, Logistics, Warehousing).

  • Good cross functional understanding of processes such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, manufacturing, compliance, IT

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to form relationships and influence multiple diverse, remote, international teams and individuals within the team as well as cross-functionally with other teams such as Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, QA, Legal and Contract Management, and IT.

  • Proactive data driven problem solver who can help teams reduce complex situations to enable progress, enable end-to-end process, and drive to sustainable results; continuous improvement mentality and use of DBS tools.

  • Knowledge of B2B standard methodologies and strategies in a global business environment.

  • Prior experience in Sales, Purchasing, Accounting/Controlling, Logistics/warehousing, business IT or similar is a plus.
