The Operational Quality Manager is responsible for the implementation of LEAN practices that sustainably eliminate waste whilst leading the process discipline to improve process and component quality impacting facility efficiency. In this role a successful candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of both quality and lean principles and have a proven track record of teaching the organization how to improve.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Leadership contribution to the development of the operational business whilst leading the quality organisation.

  • Providing subject matter expertise on Quality Standards, LEAN and process compliance for quality.

  • Developing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing quality assurance processes to ensure final products and services are compliant with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Development of the local strategy for quality and lean improvement

  • Working across the global organisation to align and contribute to develops in quality

  • Empowered to develop the skills and knowledge to achieve world-class performance.

Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

  • Proven Leadership experience in quality and lean

  • Be able to clearly demonstrate knowledge through multiple tools – 6 Sigma, 8D, Lean transformation and analytics

  • Strong visionary ability to design a local 5 year strategy for quality and Lean transformation

  • Experienced in cross functional and complex issue management

  • Solid grasp of Industry 5.0 developments and data science methodologies for data capture

Job Title: Senior Quality Manager

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £80,000-£95,000 depending on experience

Benefits: 27 days annual leave + bank holidays, 31% bonus, Car allowance, Flexible Buy in Benefits such as Private Medical, Healthcare, Vison & Dental schemes, Share Scheme (50% Company Matched), Contributory Pension Scheme (Contribution double by Company up to 10%), Free Car Parking

Hours: Full time 37.50

Travel: Up to 10%
