Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain: Spearhead the development of new software solutions and maintain our diverse portfolio of WordPress sites.

• Code Reusability: Create reusable code and libraries to streamline future development projects, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and Debug: Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring seamless functionality across all projects.

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our in-house digital team to gather project specifications and requirements, fostering a collaborative environment.

• Quality Assurance: Work hand-in-hand with our QA team to guarantee high-quality output and execute timely bug fixes.

• Solution Development: Develop high-quality solutions that align with defined requirements and design documentation.

• Documentation: Create, review, and update technical documentation to maintain clarity and consistency throughout projects.

• Security Focus: Maintain a strong focus on security best practices to safeguard our digital assets.

• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement in architecture, processes, and organizational culture.

Knowledge:

• Advanced proficiency in PHP and extensive experience with Linux Server Environments.

• Strong command line skills and expertise in bash scripting.

• Firm grasp of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Proven experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications.

• Comfortable using debugging tools such as Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

• Ability to translate comprehensive layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages and WordPress templates.

• Knowledgeable in interacting with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML).

Skills:

• Enterprise and local-level development experience preferred.

• Knowledge of U.S. ADA accessibility standards for developing compliant WordPress websites.

• Strong communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Self-starter capable of working independently with outstanding time management skills.

  Requirements

• Proven experience in web development or related field.

• Familiarity with content management systems, especially WordPress.

• Demonstrated ability to develop WordPress plugins.

• Strong understanding of backend development best practices.

• Experience in developing PHP applications.

• Capable of managing WordPress sites, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Expertise in WordPress development, including creation of custom themes and plugins.

• Adept at using WordPress CMS for website creation and management.
