Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Help Desk Analyst to support the IT Department for a Fortune 500 Financial Services company. This position is great for any Computer Science graduate or Information Technology professional with formal IT internship or work experience. This IT Team is very polished and requires staff to maintain high-quality knowledge, performance and attendance standards. The scope of this opportunity is level 1 and level 2 deskside, IT support. For serious consideration candidates should apply with resumes including, but not limited to: PC/laptop building, troubleshooting, imaging/deployment, PXE, VDI, network setup, administration, Active Directory, Windows, Linux, PowerShell and more.

Duties

  • Build PC's, install new hardware, and image laptops for internal customers.

  • Work with logistics department to manage IT hardware inventory.

  • Prepare and ship network equipment, laptops, PC’s, peripherals, and more to end-users.

  • Assist non-technical new hires during the onboarding process.

  • Learn proprietary business applications to support operations. (in-house training provided).

  • Copy files and manually move end-user data.

  • Troubleshoot and repair peripherals and accessories.

  • Assist with O365 migration and Windows migration.

  • Assist with hardware deployment cycle.

  • Use technology such as Windows, SCCM, ServiceNow, SharePoint and O365.

  • Uninstall programs and install new software.

  • Update both hardware and software as necessary.

  • Team player mentality.

  • Interest in gaining enterprise-wide experience in an IT role.

  • Interpersonal skills needed, as well as ability to collaborate.

Work Environment

  • The dress code is business casual, and the environment is a team-based.

  • Monday-Friday. No Weekends.

  • 1st Shift hours.

  • Training turnaround is 2 months.

  • The size and culture of the team is about 12 people, 4 FTE and rest contractors.

Expected Start Date

  • Interviews July 8

  • Start Date July 22

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday.

  • 1st shift hours.

  • Saturday & Sunday Off.

  • Federal Holidays Off.

Compliance Requirements

  • Drug Test Required; Background Check Required.

  • IT Certifications, Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree are nice to have.
