Job Title: UX Technical Writer Department: User Experience Grade: 6 FLSA Status: Exempt Description Insulet is on a mission to simplify life for people living with diabetes! We are looking for a UX Technical Writer to join our growing User Experience (UX) team to accomplish this mission. Apply your technical, strategic, organizational, and creative writing skills to provide engaging, informative content vital for our products and customer experience. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner with cross-functional teams distributed across the country. The UX Technical Writer is responsible for the creation of long and short-form UX content including user-facing UX microcopy and internal-facing design documentation vital for the development of our applications. You'll use your editorial mastery to ensure content stays on brand, adheres to our voice and tone, and follows all literacy level requirements. This role works closely with UX Management to coordinate design documentation deliverables and UX microcopy creation. The ideal candidate is flexible, understands UX methodologies, is a strategic thinker and has significant experience contributing to innovation by connecting dots and building processes Responsibilities

Create a compelling and empowering user experience through engaging, on-brand long and short-form UX content.

Strategize and define logic for copy including internal design documentation and customer-facing UX microcopy.

Generate informative and engaging UX microcopy content in support of positive clinical outcomes and a meaningful user experience.

Ensure all content is consistent in terms of brand, style, voice and tone, quality, and literacy/grade levels across all products/platforms.

Collaborate frequently with cross-functional stakeholders, managing the revision process and any deadlines.

Support the team in process and tool improvements and evaluating future tools.

Responsible for design documentation submissions into Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) systems.

Work closely with UX managers to identify impacts and coordinate content outputs for all products / platforms. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in healthcare or medical device industry.

1-3 years of experience in UX content strategy or content production.

Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.

Effective project management and multitasking skills.

The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

The drive to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.

Passion for making a positive impact in people's lives. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Writing, English, Health or a similar field, from an accredited four-year university.

Experience in healthcare, medical device industry or another highly regulated industry.

Immense flexibility: driving a focused approach while being able to pivot in a growing, fast-moving organization.

Passion for building and maintaining strong, positive relationships throughout the organization.

Experience in content management solutions in a technical context (e.g. web and mobile apps).

Experience working in Jira, Confluence, Figma, Framer, Abstract, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools.

Familiarity with common design to ls, language, and processes.

Experience managing stakeholders though different stages of content production.

Understanding of basic Agile/SaFE planning processes (certification optional).
