Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, you will manage the General Ledger, supervise, monitor, and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities utilizing QuickBooks and Excel. This is a very transactional role, this person will be creating and working through the journal entries while also submitting them.
You will oversee a 3-5 day month-end process, manage Accounts Receivable including invoice creation, balance matching, and aging reports.
You will also partner during internal and external audits, manage communication with the audit firm, and be responsible for pulling data and reports for tax purposes. Additionally, you will maintain, develop, and implement systems for analyzing, verifying, and reporting accurate financial information.
Your responsibilities will include meeting accounting financial objectives through forecasting requirements, managing department budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
You will assist the Finance team to ensure a timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close and financial reporting through regular GL maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed asset maintenance.
You will perform multiple financial cost analysis functions, manage company cash flow, and liaise and support internal and external audit and tax.
This role is transactional and requires a hands-on approach to not only managing processes but also deeply understanding and executing them.

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Denver, Colorado and some days remote.
