The Global Project Management Office team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader for our Project Office for Engineering Services. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects by providing strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership.

• Develop and implement program management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

• Coordinate a team of Project Manager and engineers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.

• Establish and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals, and ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives.

• Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track and within budget.

• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects, and provide timely solutions.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing project management processes and procedures.

• Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in engineering services to drive innovation and excellence.

• Position includes international travel up to 25%

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related subject • Defined Product Management experience in a similar role • Experience managing technical products or online services • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services • Experience manipulating and analysing data or • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup) at an advanced level • Strong writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level • Experience building and analysing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organisation • PMP certification is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
