Cloud Security Analyst
Location:Chicago, IL or Denver, CO (on-site - 100%) email - [email protected] if interestedOverview As aCloud Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems. Your responsibilities will include assessing potential security risks, implementing robust security measures, and maintaining thorough documentation related to cloud security.
Duties and Responsibilities Security Assessment: Analyze our cloud-based infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and assess security risks. Policy Development: Develop and implement cloud security policies and procedures. Security Architecture: Architect secure solutions within popular cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across the enterprise IT landscape. Risk Management: Apply risk management techniques to drive successful outcomes in a globally distributed environment. Technical Expertise: Utilize hands-on technical skills in security architecture, automation, integration, and deployment (DevOps). Reference Architecture: Build security reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios. Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Continuous Learning: Maintain a growth mindset, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and cloud computing trends. Experience and Education Requirements Experience: 5-8 years of IT implementation experience, with at least 5 years specifically in cloud security, compliance, and risk management. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute, network, storage) and cloud control plane. Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in architecting solutions within AWS, Azure, and GCP. Security Tools: Familiarity with cloud security and governance tools, CASBs, and server virtualization technologies. Enterprise Security Solutions: Knowledge of WAF, IPS, Anti-DDoS, and SIEM. Risk Management: Understanding of risk management methods and techniques. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work well independently and as part of larger cross-functional teams. EEO Employer
