Description

Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resource Specialist to join our client's People Operations Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting employees throughout their careers, from recruitment to offboarding, while ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. This role is located in the Denver Metro area and requires any candidate to pass a background check.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with the People Operations Team to provide comprehensive support in onboarding, benefits administration, training and development, and performance management, while adhering to applicable employment laws and best practices.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for People Operations Zendesk tickets, addressing employee concerns, documenting changes, and escalating issues as necessary.

  • Provide applicant and candidate support during the recruitment process, including conducting phone screens and coordinating interviews.

  • Maintain accurate human resource records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in verifying employment eligibility for new hires and provide guidance on the I-9 and E-Verify processes.

  • Offer technical support and guidance to HRIS users and act as a backup for processing employee timesheets and payroll.

  • Support employee relations by counseling managers and employees on basic inquiries and escalating issues when needed.

  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs and support employee engagement initiatives, including exit interviews, recognition programs, and wellness events.

  • Participate in business and departmental projects, ensuring timely completion and effective results.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in human resource management or related roles.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
