As a System Design, Assembly & Test Engineer you will be part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers to develop mechanical/fluid products for the re-useable launch vehicle. You will engage in all stages of the design cycle including conceptual design, requirements management, system modeling, layout, structural analysis, modeling/drafting, manufacturing, integration, test, and mission support.

You will create engineering documentation including schematics, requirements, design reviews, bills of materials, and other deliverables. You will use 3D CAD programs (Creo), product lifecycle management tools (Windchill), and possibly Finite Element Analysis programs (ANSYS) to design and analyze the system. You will use creative thinking and novel manufacturing solutions to solve sophisticated problems with high pressure, cryogenic, and highly stressed hardware. You will deliver completed designs using ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards along with clear and well documented analysis reports.
