As a Database Specialist, you will engage with a team to meet the database requirements of USGS end users. Proven experience in adding, manipulating, querying, and analyzing data within SDE (Spatial Database Engine) is essential for this role. It is imperative the Database Specialist possess a strong track record of effectively managing spatial data, utilizing SDE functionalities to maintain data integrity and optimizing performance. The role requires proficiency in executing complex spatial queries, performing data updates and modifications, and extracting actionable insights from spatial datasets stored in SDE. Experience in troubleshooting data issues and ensuring data quality standards are met is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance - Must be a US citizen or permanent resident for 3+ years
Bachelor's Degree in GIS or a related field AND 3+ years’ experience
Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS Pro
Proven experience in replicating data from SDE.
Exhibited experience querying and updating tables in SQL
