Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct planning and day-to-day activity of flight training hotel scheduling and shuttle service

  • Managing all aspects of the hotel and transportation scheduling function to support flight training in the most cost effective manner

  • Responsible for forecasting Flight Training hotel and transportation needs, to include negotiating terms for future volume commitments and pricing

  • Monitors performance against forecast and initiates action to control adverse trends

  • Functions as a liaison with Flight Training Scheduling Operations, hotel properties and shuttle vendor; fostering open communication and modeling teamwork through cross-functional working relationships

  • Maintains productive relationships with hotels, shuttle vendor, training instructors and pilot union representatives

  • Leads a team of hotel training schedulers, develops employees and encourages positive hotel and employee engagement

  • Works with technology on system development to support hotel scheduling

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High School Diploma

  • Behavioral Competencies to include adaptability, building strategic working relationships, and contribution to team success

  • Customer Focus

  • Two-five years of operational management

  • Strong Computer skills, Solid customer service and strong verbal communication skills

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • College degree

  • Crew scheduling or Training Scheduling experience

  • Strong Microsoft Office Experience

The salary for this position is $73,425 to $107,690, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
