Benefits and Memorial Program The Benefits and Memorial Program (BAM) provides high quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to those responsible for providing care to the Veterans at the point-of-care as well as throughout all points of the Veterans' health care in an effective, timely and compassionate manner. The VA depends on Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) systems to meet mission goals, and deliver world-class, innovative systems that ensure reliable, secure, and seamless delivery of benefits and services directly to Veterans and their families. The BAM program focuses on developing and managing advanced technology solutions to serve the Veterans Benefits Administration, the Board of Veterans Appeals, and the National Cemetery Administration.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, r a related field. (16 years' experience substitute for degree)

8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on application development.

Expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).

Strong experience with modern software development frameworks and technologies (e.g., Spring, .NET, Angular, React).
