City Of Delta Golf Course Turf Maintenance Worker in Delta, Colorado
POSITION: Golf Course Turf Maintenance Worker
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Under supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent performs a wide variety of unskilled maintenance and construction work on the City's golf course. This is a seasonal position.
REQUIREMENTS: *Knowledge and skill in the safe work practices in the operation of light equipment, power tools and in safe methods of performing maintenance and construction work. *Ability to talk and hear in person and by radio. *Ability to see and read instructions, prepare reports and make repairs. *Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and general public. *Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License. Minimum age 17. Will be required to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and six months of general labor experience.
WAGE: Wage Range $17.62-$23.00
SHIFT: *May be required to work early mornings, weekends and Holidays. *Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
JOB SITE: Delta, Colorado.
