Designation : Regional Sales Manager (East)

Education And/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engg. ( Mech.Engineering preferred ) with 8-10+ years of relevant Sales experience in Rotating equipment domain within the East India market.

Regional Sales Manager (East) has direct Sales & Service responsibility and co-ordination with the Aftermarket team for developing and supporting sales growth of EBSPL and EBPL “Standard Equipment Group” – SEG; products within the assigned territory of East India comprising of the following States :

  1. West Bengal

  2. Jharkhand

  3. Sikkim

  4. Assam

  5. Meghalaya

  6. ArunachalPradesh

  7. Nagaland

  8. Manipur

  9. Mizoram

  10. Chhattisgarh

  11. Odisha.

The Regional Sales Manager (East) will be able to work in a “Team sales” approach where he will work closely with the existing Sales team, Inside Sales team, Service Team leader & Service Engineer’s to manage the entire Sales & Service support process (internal /external) to meet / exceed the customer expectations. This position will be based out of a home based office in Calcutta initially.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, And Deliverables

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and deliver Regional Sales and Aftermarket plans to achieve Categorywise notified budgets.

  • Support the regional sales team in close co-ordination with the Central support team, with sales training, sales support, customer visits, proposals, and identifying Best Sales Practices to share with the entire sales team.

  • Support the regional service team in close co-ordination with the Central support team, with necessary service training, customer visits, proposals, and identifying Best Service Practices to share with the entire service team.

  • Coordinate/support all existing customers within the assigned territories to ensure 100% customer satisfaction at all times

  • Work with Marketing to identify co-marketing strategies and tactics to gain market share / increase customer installed base

  • Aid in market intelligence gathering including contributing to competitive positioning.

  • Utilize ZOHO (CRM Software) to map all key data accurately as per internal compliances

  • Participate in all sales tools development including collateral materials.

  • Utilize web-based sales tools proficiently.

  • Aid in the collection of accounts receivables.

  • Prepare weekly / monthly activity reports and any other reports as per Management request in routine course.

  • Technical competency in the sales of Standard equipments within the Rotating equipment sales domain

Supervisory Responsibility

This position currently requires several years of Regional Sales experience within the East India market and reports to the AVP-Sales (Vacuum Division) based in the H.O.
