As the Operations and Maintenance Gatekeeper you will ensure reliability-driven maintenance activities are value-adding to the business. Work with Maintenance Scheduler and Production Engineer to improve maintenance and production schedules. Ensure PPM's have appropriate priority, completed by maintaining schedules. Reporting directly to the Facility Engineering Manager on site at our Delaware, Ohio manufacturing facility you will also oversee the maintenance budget for the assigned area. Key Responsibilities

• Challenges and prioritizes daily maintenance work
• Screens work requests for value, correct resourcing and prioritization
• Coach operators to troubleshoot, resolve problems themselves and create 'Model Work Requests'
• Working with the Maintenance Planner(s) ensures prioritization of work orders in the maintenance planning process
• Work with Maintenance Scheduler to create maintenance forecasts and weekly/daily schedules that meet current operations needs
• Ensure maintenance jobs have been completed and accepted by operations
• Ensure work order closure observing Technical and Financial business rules

Qualifications

• Knowledge of asset reliability, work process, asset maintenance process.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Experience with CMMS (MP2)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of maintenance experience
