SUMMARY:

Lundbeck US is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly experienced individual for the position of Director, Omnichannel Analytics & Strategy. Reporting into Omnichannel Strategy & Planning lead, this individual will focus on developing solutions to elevate Omnichannel analytics capability to drive organization-wide digital transformation. This individual will provide analytics advisory in both internal and external cross-functional collaboration to drive business adaption of advanced analytics and predictive analytics solutions across portfolio of Lundbeck brands. He or she will actively influence commercial strategy, post-launch optimization, and future launch planning efforts by generating insights, uncovering opportunities, and integrating cross-functionally to deliver a holistic story. This person must have deep knowledge in the Omnichannel space, be a strategic storyteller and a strong collaborator with a proven track record of navigating complex organizational structures/experience in highly matrixed environments

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible to deliver quarterly update on marketing resource optimization through marketing mix, media measurement, attribution modelling, content analytics and event stream analytics

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations from all promotional channels (Media, CRM, Websites, IVA, VAE, etc.) across product portfolio

  • Provide insights on national and sub-national drivers of cross-channel performance by identifying synergistic impact between marketing promotional channels to optimize brand investments.

  • Drive and support the implementation of advanced analytics solutions, including promotional response, dynamic segmentation and explainable AI through marketing technology tools to drive personalization and precision in communication strategy to enhance customer experience and achieve brand’s strategic outcomes.

  • Effectively communicates the “omnichannel story” – educates on the optimal approaches and considerations and challenges the current thinking to drive digital transformation for the organization

  • Establish SOPs and consistent data collection processes for non-traditional data points across media channels

  • Provide analytics expertise to portfolio of Lundbeck brands on establishing omnichannel measurement frameworks, working with the team on Omnichannel KPI development, tracking and diagnostics

  • Support digital analytics and modular content analytics to drive personalized messaging.

  • Support business needs in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating a sense of urgency, tenacity, and commitment to quality and excellence.

  • Responsible for communicating findings, results, and recommendations of analysis/research with a strong comprehensive story and enable key brand level decisions while working collaboratively across functions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

  • Master’s degree in quantitative field

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in analytics, marketing, digital media, communication strategy, consulting, biotech or pharmaceutical industry

  • Strong expertise in Omnichannel marketing principles and strategies, as well as marketing mix/media mix planning and channel investment recommendation

  • Prior experience in building and leading advanced analytics functions

  • Strong hands-on experience in running rigorous statistical models on pharmaceutical data and ability to build a comprehensive brand story to bring modeling results to light

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand all the interdependency and big picture and translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable solutions

  • Strong experience in DTC and digital media data and analysis

  • Ability to develop analytical plans and identify the right advanced analytics approach to inform brand level decision-making

  • Ability to move from analysis to business implications and make strong presentations of data to all levels of the organization

  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in influential leadership, establishing new capability, developing cross-functional relationship and managing high-functioning team of direct and indirect reports

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through presentation and with the ability to simplify complex matters and communicate with all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to lead collaboration without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization

  • Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

  • Accredited Master’s Degree or PhD in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Sociology or other related fields with a strong emphasis in quantitative methods

  • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industries

  • Experience with media agencies, data partners and analytics consultants to onboard data & analytics services

  • Experience with payer mix (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) analysis, formulary analysis and strategy development

  • Experience with ML/AI coding and implementation

  • Experience in marketing enablement, marketing automation, and journey orchestration within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry

  • Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products

  • Expertise with Google Analytics, AB testing platforms, VEEVA SFMC and social media analytics/reporting (incl. proficiency in A/B testing, multivariate testing)

  • High proficiency in SAS, R, or Python

  • High proficiency in SQL coding

  • Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products

TRAVEL:

Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required
