Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team. This is a first shift position from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with some weekend projects for overtime. The role is a 6-12 month rolling contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for physically counting parts, tracking them across various buildings, and entering data into Excel. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
Responsibilities
Physically count parts ranging from screw size to computer size.
Access the company system to find and count 7-digit part numbers.
Track down parts which could be located in any building (A, B, W, or Commerce Parkway).
Be a part of the counting and inventory team.
Bring a computer to the parts and enter data into Excel.
Save and send findings to the counting team to determine next steps.
Ensure accuracy in all counting and data entry processes.
Spend 95% of the time on the manufacturing floor.
Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses, and a bump hat.
Perform line audits for leading IRA indicators.
Update and post IRA Value Stream Metrics in the area.
Lead Value Stream board meetings to review metrics not performing at target levels.
Capture action items and follow up with owners to drive improvement.
Execute small action items such as hanging signs, adding labels, and taking pictures.

Work Environment
You will be working on the manufacturing floor, spending 95% of your time in this environment. Safety equipment such as steel-toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses, and a bump hat are required. The role involves a lot of walking and standing throughout the entire shift. You will be part of the counting team and will work independently for most of the day.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
