Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm with alternative hours worked for special events.

Summary:

Mueller has an opening for a Plant Administrative Assistant to join the team to support all administrative functions for the Plant including various data analysis projects and planning special events. The position is a very fast paced clerical role with varies tasks being completed each day. Someone who is outgoing and can cope with changes throughout the day would enjoy this busy role. This role will not just sit at a desk all day. Must have a valid license and be flexible with their time for special events.

The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of recent work experience with administrative type duties. The ability to deal with sensitive information and confidentiality is a must for this position. Desired applicants must have a positive disposition, be service minded, and ability to prioritize multiple items in an efficient manner. The Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and team leaders to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Perform transactions, coordinate data, projects or accounts of a highly specialized, advanced, or sensitive nature.
  • Provide general administrative assistance and support to assigned managers. Coordinate meetings, travel, expense processing and other related tasks.
  • Handle customer relations activities as needed.
  • Fulfills information requests and other inquiries from field personnel and customers

{=html} <!-- --> - Tracking monthly budgets, processing invoices, and providing appropriate follow-up on payments - Manages work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner; provides guidance to peers as necessary regarding proprietary information. Confidential information typically consists of non-public company sensitive information (e.g., acquisitions, business strategies, financial data). - Coordinate and order for lunch meetings - Compile and run various reports as needed - Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years administrative assistant type duties preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - including Word, Excel (formulate pivot tables and charts), PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers
  • Ability to prioritize many different tasks at once
  • Ability to adapt to changes and requests from multiple requestors
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to Detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-driven and able to function with little supervision
  • Strong communicator, both orally and written
  • Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external
  • Willingness and ability to interact with all levels in the plant, with portion of time spent on shop floor
  • Must always be professional and confidential
  • Independent thinker and adaptable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and must have good manual dexterity to use a computer, copier, fax, phone, and other office equipment.
  • The person in this posit on will be required to be in constant contact with plant team members, vendors, and community leaders, so the ability to speak & communicate clearly is essential.
  • Position requires the ability to hear and see as this person will be on the plant floor in safety sensitive areas daily.
  • Must be able to work in both a plant and office environment.
