We are seeking a talented and innovative Control System Engineer to join our team and work on the development of next-generation powertrain diagnostic software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems engineering, a passion for automotive technology, and a drive to push the boundaries of innovation in the field.

What you'll do...

  • Design, develop, and implement control algorithms for next-generation powertrain diagnostic software

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into diagnostic tools and applications

  • Conduct testing, validation, and optimization of control systems for powertrain diagnostics

  • Analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions to enhance software performance and efficiency

  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in control systems for automotive applications

You'll have.. .

  • Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.

  • 3+ years of proven experience in developing control systems for automotive applications, preferably in powertrain diagnostics

  • 3+ years experience programming languages such as C/C++ 3+ years experience with MATLAB, or Simulink

Even better, you may have...

  • Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree or foreign equivalency degree

  • Knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems and diagnostic protocols.

  • Experience with diagnostic tools.

  • Previous experience in developing algorithms for fault detection and diagnostics.

  • Understanding of OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) standards and regulations.

  • Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing methodologies.

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools for diagnostic purposes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8 .
