As an engineer, you understand the power behind complexsystems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling and assessing foreign threat radars, antennas, and communication systems. We're looking for aproblem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems andsurvivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. This is an opportunity tohone your technical abilities on significant technical problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication. Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients. Wedevelop the detailed models and simulations as required by those analyses. That's why we need you, an engineer with an interest in RF systems, radar signal processing, antenna modeling, and operational approach assessments. While working with a diverse and experienced team, you'll perform modeling and simulation development and operational assessments, to include radar signal processing code developmentand the refinement of models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink. You'll directly impact the DoD'smission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures improve survivability and decrease vulnerability against foreign threatsystems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems. You Have: Experience with coding in MATLAB, C, C++, FORTRAN, or Python Ability to work in a team environment Ability to obtain a security clearance Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring or Summer 2024 Nice If You Have: Experience with engineering and mathematics Experience with modeling and simulation Experience with Linux Knowledge of radar principles for antennas, signal processing, and track filters Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Secret clearance Master's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
