Miami Valley Child Development Centers is a non-profit Head Start and Early Head Start program that focuses on providing early learning experiences to prepare children for kindergarten and school success. We serve children from 6 weeks to five years. Currently we have a work force of about 500 employees. We provide services in Clark, Madison, and Montgomery counties. Minimum Credentials: CDA with a commitment to complete an Associate's degree. Experience working with Infants and Toddlers. • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)EW • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Organized, detail-oriented, with problem solving and good decision-making skills • Collaborative, team-oriented with positive and dedicated work ethic to children and families • Willingness to continue professional education and learning, being coachable • Background check, drug screening, federal sex offender check and physical medical clearance, driver's license • Knowledge of how diversity, equity and inclusion are critical to foster a positive work environment • Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate and best practices for specific position assigned • Demonstrated knowledge of child and family curriculum, Conscious Discipline principles, and Head Start practices • Must be physically able to move quickly in and outside the classroom or facility (such as but not limited to: sit on the floor and in a child size chair, bend from knee and waist, stoop and squat to talk to children at their eye level, climb stairs, physical outdoor play, field trips, walks, lift children (up to 50lbs) • May be required to travel to other centers to provide coverage based on agency needs Company paid 401k, 3 wks vacation, 3 wks sick, 12 holidays, 2 personal days, retention incentives, student loan forgiveness 8 positions in Montgomery County and 2 in Clark County
