Job Title: RF Systems Engineer

Job Description

The RF Systems Engineer will engage in various engineering subjects such as RF, radar, digital design, and analog design. This individual contributor role is part of a cohesive team of engineers responsible for global communications products. The engineer will collaborate with the engineering team to understand the nuances of design, testing, and systems. The role involves following a road map for 6-9 months to learn the product and eventually move into pure RF design.

Hard Skills

• Experience with RF instruments such as Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Signal Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, & Oscilloscopes

• Radar knowledge

• High Power RF Design

• Digital Design or Analog Design (Preferably both)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent technical education and experience

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

• Lab debugging skills

• Ability to work in a team

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dallas, Texas.

Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by strong RF fundamentals such as impedance matching, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth, and stability. The role requires the ability to create schematics and wire lists, excellent circuit simulation skills using Spice or other simulation tools, and hands-on experience in RF tuning and using RF instruments. Note: US CITIZENSHIP is required due to government contracts
