Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Director of Installation Products & Contractor Sales to join our TEAM! As the Director of Installation Products & Contractor Sales, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as develop and implement pricing, conduct competitive analysis, and develop profitable partnerships.

Primary Objective

Directs the strategic planning and organizing of sales initiatives and promotes the sales of all Allied - Installation Products by optimizing profit and identifying incremental sales opportunities while meeting financial, and corporate growth objectives.

Major Function and Scope

  • Develops and implements pricing, profit margin, and sales initiatives in order to achieve annual financial objectives.

  • Conducts competitive analysis to ensure Dal-Tile products are competitive in performance, price and quality.

  • Develops profitable partnerships with suppliers including designating core national suppliers, to provide the best possible programs and alliances for Dal-Tile.

  • Develops Supply Chain initiatives with the logistics organization.

  • Visits regional markets to stay abreast of product issues and opportunities.

  • Supports brand by attending National and Regional meetings and industry tradeshows & events.

  • Develops and delivers product presentations and sales tools to internal and external customers.

  • Facilitates problem resolution related to product quality and supply chain issues. Maintains relationships with field personnel and helps resolve problems.

  • Responsible for (in conjunction with suppliers) for item data and pricing integrity and accuracy in all systems.

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies to engage trade professionals and industry associations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, trade professionals, and industry associations.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the contractor market.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.

  • Performs other related duties as required or as directed by VP Commercial Sales & Business Development.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or business required. MBA preferred. 5 or more years' experience.

Competencies

  • Ability to influence and foster teamwork at all levels of the organization.

  • Self-motivated, excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills.

  • Must be able to prioritize and delegate.

  • Must have strong/proven leadership and organizational skills.

  • Excellent negotiations skills.

  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
