Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist, where you will be responsible for loading and unloading parts for machining up to 40 pounds, performing basic equipment maintenance, and reading and interpreting manufacturing prints. Your role will include checking parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, pins, indicators, bore gauges, optical comparator, and height gauge. You will be expected to handle CNC setup and operation, load programs, set and adjust work/tool offsets using Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls, and inspect machined parts following 1st Part and in process inspection protocols. The position also requires changing fixtures, managing tool libraries, diagnosing and troubleshooting CNC machines, and utilizing Renishaw probing and reading logic programs. Keeping the area organized and clean according to 5s standards is also a key part of the job.
Hard Skills
CNC 3, 4 & 5 axis machining experience
Knowledge of geometric tolerance GD&T
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, pins, indicators, bore gauges, optical comparator, and height gauge
Experience with Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls
Ability to change fixtures and manage tool libraries
Skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting CNC machines
Capability to utilize Renishaw probing and read logic programs
Soft Skills
Efficient math skills
Ability to interpret manufacturing prints
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a quick-turn, high-speed environment

This is a fully on-site position in Dallas, Oregon.

This role requires the ability to continuously walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. The work environment typically has a low to moderate noise level.
