Position Summary This position is responsible for overseeing the integrity of $9.4B+ in store bank account (BA) balances per year for the PCW (Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness) business segment and providing all necessary testing evidence associated with BA activity, to both Internal and External Auditors. In addition to the oversight of management of the day-to-day reconciliation functions, the position is responsible for cash flow movement from store to the bank, including interaction with Armored Car carriers. This role is responsible for driving and providing detailed direction and decisions on projects where cash and check processing will be introduced or enhanced, to ensure optimal data integrity which is directly related to recording of all associated accounting entries. This requires the position to work closely with various IT partners, project managers, and business sponsors including but not limited to Treasury Operations, Store Operations, Customer Relations, Asset Protection and various Digital teams.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· In conjunction with IT and other Business Sponsors, establish project workflow requirements by participating in and providing direction on all new projects, programs, enhancements, reporting and analytics relative to SAP CAR, SAP ECC (East), ReconNET, etc. where cash and check processing is being introduced or enhanced.

· Manages, develops, and supports Bank Accounting staff respectively that participate in all relevant project activities and day-to-day processes. Includes employment sourcing (and termination if necessary), mentoring, and performance reviews

· Ensures data and accounting integrity by overseeing testing of end-to-end financial transactions through financial systems; reviews/approves reporting and analytics generated for distribution by Bank Accounting. Ensures reconciliations are completed in a manner consistent with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards.

· Oversees troubleshooting of anomalies, bugs and other issues relative to store cash, entries impacting bank accounts.

· Recommends/Establishes/Participates/Implements processes that would facilitate or eliminate manual processes.

· Assists with budget/forecast creation and provides variance explanations for various balance sheet and revenue/expense accounts. Assists with remote deposit workflows as needed.

Required Qualifications

· 3+ years Microsoft knowledge, specifically Excel, Outlook, Teams, and/or similar software

· 3+ years Accounting/Bookkeeping and Analytical experience

· 2+ Leadership or Supervisory/Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

· Store Retail point-of-sale experience

· Banking experience

· Project implementation cycle knowledge (e.g. planning, design, testing, etc.)

· Intermediate knowledge of Financial systems and data flows (e.g. S4, SAP, ReconNET, Cadency, etc.)

· Effective time-management and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and use appropriate judgement and discretion Strong interpersonal skills (including effective verbal, written skills)

· Problem solving/root cause analysis skills

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required (HS Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
