Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer to develop cutting-edge embedded firmware and software support tools for intelligent, PLC- and microprocessor-based products in electrified vehicles. You will work both independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of software designs from conception to completion. You will also provide technical support across multiple projects, collaborating with various teams including electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers, as well as production and service teams, to provide software support throughout the product life cycle. This includes developing software technical specifications and documentation, and effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Hard Skills

• Programmable logic controller (PLC) software design

• Experience with power electronics and control logic components

• Proficiency in automotive and industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, SAE J1939, RV-C, NMEA 2000, Bluetooth, TCP/IP)

• Software configuration management

• Proficiency in software languages such as Python and C

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cullman, Alabama.
