We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst III based in Crystal Lake, Illinois. This role is crucial in a telecom provider sector, where you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. You will be part of a dynamic team, responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

• Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.

• Write training manuals and train computer users.

• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.

• Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.

• Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem.

• Walk customer through problem-solving process.

• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.

• Clean up computers and run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.

• Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of Active Directory

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware

• Expertise in Configuration Management

• Experience in Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
