This is an in-person, on-site role based in Crum Lynne, PA. GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE Under the direction of the Controller, this position manages the grower settlements and grower accounting for Dole Diversified NA.  This includes but is not limited to: Grower Settlements, Grower Payable, Grower Advances and Grower Accounting.  In addition, this position will be responsible of ensuring that control policies and procedures are in place, are consistent, are enforceable and recognize and correct deficiencies when necessary. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION Manage the Grower Settlement team and processes. Administer the grower contracting process. Develop goals and direct teams and departments to successful completion. Manage the grower payable accounts and review period end reconciliations. Work closely with grower settlement team to settle grower payables on a weekly basis. Manage grower accounting and ensure that financial results are reflected accurately by working closely with the Finance team. Participate in developing long-term strategies for the accounting team. Prepare the cash flow budgets and forecasts which include preseason advances, weekly advances and grower settlements. Safeguard assets by establishing, documenting, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls, policies and procedures. Develop a weekly management reporting package to communicate profitability by grower and validate Dole's liability on the balance sheet. Liaison with other departments in accounting and grower-related questions including, Legal, Sourcing, Sales, Operations and Finance. Establish a standard reporting package for growers by developing new reports or improving upon existing reports. Partner with and educate business owners, internal and external, to ensure accounting processes are complete and accurate. Develop, coach and manage team of accounting personnel Other projects as needed including system implementations and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skill And Experience Requirements) Work Experience: 5 to 10 years of accounting experience Agriculture experience is highly desired. Famous, HP, Mainframe, or JD Edwards experience preferred. Supervisory or management experience required Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Excellent computer skills including accounting or ERP software and Microsoft Office. Other: Must have the ability to make decisions, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow posted work rules/procedures. Demonstrated ability to successfully complete projects demanding high attention to detail. Language Requirements: English, Spanish a plus ROLE COMPETENCIES (To be Completed by HR) Functional Expertise

INTERN L & EXTERNAL RELATIONS Interaction takes place with all areas of the company, from subordinates to Senior Staff.  Collaborates with other departments. External interactions take place with insurance providers, auditors, both private and public, growers, customers, and others.

EDUCATION Education:  B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or Finance. Language Requirements:  English is required, Spanish is a plus. EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT Directly manage an accounting team of 2 +/- team members. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear.  The employee must occasionally lift (including overhead) and/or up to 15 lbs. WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT Ability to work beyond the normal work hours as needed to complete work duties, period close, the budget cycle, system implementations and special projects.
