Description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Covington, Kentucky. The successful candidate will primarily focus on performing various administrative tasks such as data entry, timekeeping, and billing adjustments, as well as organizing and maintaining records of employee training and certifications. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Support payroll processing tasks such as data entry, timekeeping, and payroll adjustments.

• Collect and organize various types of documentation or tickets relevant to business operations.

• Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and assist with the recruitment process.

• Maintain records of employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements.

• Ensure accurate and timely transfer of relevant data to the billing department for invoicing or financial reporting.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for various administrative tasks.

• Communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal, with team members.

• Manage tasks efficiently, prioritize workloads, and maintain orderly records and documentation.

• Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

• Take a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving, able to take initiative and work independently when needed.

• Comfortably make decisions within established guidelines or procedures with limited guidance.

Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Ability to provide high-quality customer service

• Strong data entry skills

• Experience in handling and answering inbound calls

• Familiarity with payroll systems and processes

• Prior experience in supporting recruiting efforts

• Administrative assistant experience or similar role is preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
