Key Responsibilities:
Productivity : Achieve and maintain productivity standards.
Education & Community Involvement : Present in-service and educational programs, and participate in community education.
Patient Care : Provide high-quality speech pathology treatments and maintain accurate progress notes.
Compliance & Confidentiality : Adhere to organizational policies, including HIPAA regulations, and maintain confidentiality.
Coordination : Evaluate, schedule, and treat clients referred for speech-language therapy.
MS, MEd or MA in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of completing his or her Clinical Fellowship year.
CPR is required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
Speech Pathologist license is required for the state in which the employee provides services.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
