Description

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the BowFlex/NASG Operations Manager, the Parts Warehouse Supervisor is someone who is responsible for overseeing the inbound and outbound of parts duties and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures for our BowFlex and Sporting Goods equipment. Duties include directing and administering the organization’s warehouse management systems, policies, programs and initiatives. This position includes supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Parts Warehouse Supervision:

· Responsible for the daily operation of the parts departments functions and task assignment

· Responsible for the accuracy of inventory.

· Supervise the shipping and receiving of merchandise and keep accurate documentation

· Work alongside warehouse staff as needed to assist in daily operations

· Fill in during staff shortages or peak periods to maintain productivity and meet deadlines

· Follow and disseminate the goals and objectives set by the company to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency in improving the operations

· Ensure staff is performing tasks in accordance with job responsibilities

· Meet deadlines and ensure quality of orders

· Lead, train, mentor L3 positions and supervise entire Parts staff

· Strong written and oral communication skills; attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking

Management:

· Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and controlling.

Supervisory:

· Responsible for staffing, terminations, disciplinary actions, training, and developing subordinates

· Responsible for completing adequate performance documentation on time.

· Responsible for ensuring accuracy of timecards and approving them in a timely manner.

Marginal Job Functions:

· Promote a positive, safe, clean and well-organized work areas

· Other projects as assigned

Requirements

Education:

· High school degree or equivalent required

· Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience:

· 3 – 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment with prior leadership experience

· Prior experience providing feedback during annual employee reviews and disciplinary action when necessary

Other Requirements:

· Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

· SAP experience strongly desired with an emphasis in ShipERP

· FedEx and UPS shipping experience preferred
