We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst. In this role, you will be part of a team that works closely with sales and marketing, focusing on demand planning and forecasting. The role involves a strong understanding of data analysis, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in creating pivot tables and using complex formulas.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting, analyzing, and reporting data to support decision-making processes

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables and apply formulas for data analysis

• Taking on tasks with a proactive and independent mindset, beyond simply ticking off a checklist

• Collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams for demand planning and forecasting

• Maintaining and updating data sets regularly for accuracy

• Utilizing Microsoft Word for report writing and presentation of data findings

• Learning and adapting to new software as necessary, such as Anaplan

• Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and relevance in all tasks

• Contributing to the product management team by providing valuable insights from data analysis.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas and pivot tables

• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting

• Ability to translate complex data into understandable reports or presentations

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
