Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Excavator Operators to work for a large environmental construction company. This position will start as a 2-3 week training period located in Anaheim, CA. Post training period this candidate will be arriving to the job site 15 minutes before call time. Every day starts with a safety meeting, this is a time when hazards are identified and task expectations are set for the day. Daily tasks include but are not limited to reviewing specs and blueprints, digging, removing, and replacing hazardous soil. Once the construction technicians have covered and secured the stockpiles the excavator operator will then transport it in a safe timely manner. The projects that you will be deployed to range from 3-6 months projects at a given time and are located across the Southern California region. If the driving radius required for the project you deploy to is beyond 60 miles the client will pay for mileage and drive time. This position requires timeliness and dedication.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience operating an 80,000-pound Excavator

   - High School Diploma or GED

   - Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation

Construction industry experience 40-hr HAZWOPER or current 8-hr HAZWOPER Refresher Certification null
