SUNY Cortland Visiting Lecturer/Assistant Professor - Kinesiology in Cortland, New York
Position Summary:
The Kinesiology Department at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications for a visiting lecturer or visiting assistant professor to teach four courses or 12 credit hours per semester and hold appropriate office hours.
Major Responsibilities:
The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. ILLUSTRATIVE NEEDS INCLUDE : Social Problems and Issues in Sport and Exercise, Performance Enhancing Drugs in Sport
Required Qualifications:
Visiting Lecturer
- Master’s degree in Kinesiology or closely related field
Visiting Assistant Professor
- Earned doctorate in Kinesiology or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
ABD or PhD in Kinesiology with a pedagogical emphasis in sport sociology.
