Emerson Sales Manager Europe - AMS Device Manager in Copenhagen, Denmark

As the European Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and owning the execution of sales strategy of Asset Management Software (AMS) which will drive profitable growth of the Reliability Solutions business in Europe. This will be achieved by working in close collaboration with the Emerson’s European System and Software, Sales Directors, Sales Leaders, local European Sales teams for Plant Asset Management (PAM), Measure and Analyze and Final Control Business Units leaders.

It requires tight coordination with the Product Development, Marketing and the Product Management Group. And also requires close coordination with Finance ensuring the solutions have the right cost / profit profile to justify creating the derivative solutions. Looking forward seeing your application!

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Works in close collaboration with Plant Asset Management Leaders to promote AMS Device Manager software and AMS Optics.

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for AMS Device Manager and AMS Optics.

  • Participate in developing goals and targets for the European Plant Asset Management Sales as well as identifying sufficient training and support implementation.

  • Forming and maintaining business relationships with Customers, Partners, and Suppliers that help deliver long term growth for the business.

  • Develop and manage local partners.

  • Support budget setting and own reporting as required.

  • Support the development and maintain effective sales management processes as appropriate with the team and country sales leadership.

  • Support and drive cross business unit relation and develop specific sales programs.

  • Support proposal teams (Projects, MRO and Renewals) and order administration activities.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in relevant engineering field.

  • Experience in customer sales or account management.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Business insight and experience in Reliability or Maintenance Instrumentation.

  • Knowledgeable in AMS Device Manager software.

  • Good communication with analytical skills.

  • Local language skills preferred with proficient English (verbal and written).

  • Wiling to travel as required (up to 50%), mainly internationally.
