We’re looking for a Co-op Student who will work closely with our experienced professionals and gain valuable real-world experience in the mechanical contracting industry. You will play an integral role in assisting our team with various projects and tasks, contributing to your academic and professional growth. This co-op position is designed to provide you with a well-rounded understanding of the mechanical contracting field and to help you develop the skills necessary for a successful career in this industry. The role will rotate across our internal verticals (Healthcare, Science & Technology, and Mission Critical).

What You’ll Do:

  • Project Support: Assist our project managers and technicians in planning, executing, and completing mechanical contracting projects. This may involve tasks such as project documentation, scheduling, and on-site assistance.

  • Technical Assistance: Gain hands-on experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair. Work with various tools and equipment relevant to the mechanical contracting field.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices, both on the job site and in the workplace. Learn to identify potential hazards and participate in safety meetings.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with our team members, learning from experienced professionals in the field. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other staff to gain comprehensive insights into the mechanical contracting process.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and assist with project documentation. Develop skills in project management software and tools.

  • Problem Solving: Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to mechanical systems, helping to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in the mechanical contracting industry.

  • Ability to commit to a three-term rotation.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Safety-conscious and able to follow safety guidelines.
