Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator and play a pivotal role in ensuring the production of high-quality products. Responsibilities include loading and unloading machines for various processes such as drilling, tapping, and seating die castings. You will inspect parts against machining drawings and blueprints using tools like thread gages, micrometers, and calipers. Additionally, you will assist the group leader with machine changeovers, examine products to verify quality, perform testing, identify quality issues, determine causes, and rework parts as necessary. We are hiring for both 1st shift (7:30am – 4:00pm) and 2nd shift (4:00pm – 12:30am) in Conover. Orientations are held every Monday and Wednesday from 7:30am-11:00am, with the start on their shift the following day.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Conover, North Carolina.

Work Environment

This role is based in a standard production and warehouse environment which is highly safety-oriented with clear SOPs. The facility is clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled. Safety gear such as steel-toed shoes, safety vest, safety glasses, and ear plugs will be provided. Note: No jewelry is allowed, and shoulder-length or longer hair must be tied back.
