Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Bill out time, percentage to be established based on shop size and workflow. Management will be involved in this decision and will make the Foreman aware of the required percentage that needs to be billed out on jobs. Work hand in hand with the Service Manager to achieve company goals and service our customers Guide and mentor, all technicians with the goal of maintaining talented, motivated, and loyal employees. Responsible to work with management as needed to review technician job performance. Train technicians on proper process for clocking on jobs, requesting parts, updating job statuses. Thoroughly and effectively communicate with all customers internal, and external (when needed), understand what is going on in your shop at all times; deal with and resolve issues promptly, in situations that merit, it bring issues promptly to your manager. Actively participate in recruiting new talent for ET&T, coach and council existing associates as needed, when necessary, write up associates for appropriate reasons and terminate when other options fail. Decisions are driven by doing what's best for ET&T and our customers Continually monitor workflow, schedule by priority, be aware of backlog and when work volume diminishes communicate to Service/Branch Manager.; stay constantly aware of WIP. Direct technicians on daily tasks, communicate with Parts and Service on workflow and needs and job status updates. Develop and maintain a process for QA/QC on all repairs. Maintain a safe branch, be aware of "at risk" situations and potential OSHA violations. Share insights and always be available to discuss how branch associates can become more valuable...lead by example. De-escalate situations with internal and external customers with calm, logical discussion; get out in front of problems. Thoroughly understand and work toward attaining company and branch goals, set personal goals for yourself as Shop Foreman. Monitor usage of shop supplies, maintain proper levels. Notify management when tools, materials, and consumables need to be ordered. Strive to have a *positive *effect on all branches' business. Conduct business consistent with branch financial goals, ensure that our customers always receive the best communication / service available in our industry. Take pride in your branch, work with the fellow employees to keep it clean and 100% functional, see that all branch associates project the ET&T professional image. Keep all work areas neat and orderly. Including desks, counters, workspaces, lobby, and restrooms.  Having a neat and orderly desk and work environment provides customers with a sense of order an organization. Work closely with Parts and Service on quoted jobs. If any deviation from the original quote is made involve Service to make sure quotes are updated and all parties involved, including the customer, are advised. Continually stride to assist all employees to reach their full potential. Use instruction, guidance, and constructive criticism to encourage employees to take pride in their jobs and desire to be successful. Additional duties may be designated at any time.
