Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Indiana

Shift: Train on 1st shift for 3-9 months

• 3rd: 7p – 7:30a – 2/2/3 shift

Job Description:

Responsible for performing both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on equipment in an automotive manufacturing plant.

Mechanical Troubleshooting: Hydraulics, ball screw replacement, gear boxes, and rebuilding gear boxes.

Electrical Troubleshooting: Ability to read a multimeter, troubleshoot contacts, relays, proximity switches, photo eyes, and 3 phase motors up to 480v.

When Maintenance Technicians aren't performing repairs, they are responsible for performing preventative maintenance or training themselves on troubleshooting robotics with the tools provided by the company.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience or heavy equipment experience.

• 1+ year of electrical troubleshooting experience on 3 Phase Motors 480V, proximity switches, contacts, relays, and other motors.

• 1+ year of hydraulic troubleshooting

Work Environment:

This is an automotive manufacturing plant that is non-temperature controlled but extremely nice and professional at the same time. It is a fast-paced work environment with much of the work being highly monitored for pace.
