CLINICAL PROVIDER SUPERVISOR, OUTPATIENT SERVICES

COLUMBIA, MISSOURI

You'll be responsible for managing employee performance, ensuring adherence to job duties and responsibilities, and contributing to successful program operations. Plus, pending approval from the Burrell Licensure Committee, you may even have the chance to earn additional substantial income by providing clinical supervision to individuals in training.

Here are some of the exciting responsibilities you'll take on as a Clinical Provider Supervisor:

Leadership and Team Management

  • Supervise and lead a team of Outpatient Services employees to achieve department and individual goals.

  • Coach, mentor, motivate, train, clarify, and communicate the department vision to team members.

  • Foster a positive team culture focused on wellbeing, trust, and collaboration.

  • Celebrate successes, identify growth opportunities, and resolve conflicts.

Employee Development and Performance Management

  • Assist with onboarding new hires and coordinating annual performance reviews for direct reports.

  • Facilitate team meetings and individual meetings with direct reports, and monitor achievement of required meeting/event attendance and training requirements.

  • Distribute performance data to direct reports and monitor achievement of department performance expectations.

  • Contribute to setting performance goals for improvement in written supervision records when needed.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all client documentation for individual caseload is accurate, in line with best practices, and submitted within the department's expected timeframe.

  • Maintain knowledge of Burrell programs, including admission criteria and referral processes.

  • Provide and/or coordinate a comprehensive follow-up plan to all clients for whom you've been responsible at the time of initial assessment.

  • Participate in or coordinate emergency services to provide rapid aid in cases of crisis.

  • Maintain general knowledge of community resources and how to access them for needs beyond the scope of services Burrell provides.

Quality Improvement and Compliance

  • According to Burrell guidelines, participate in peer review staffing and departmental/agency/leadership meetings.

  • Participate in and contribute to various staff development activities of Burrell.

  • Respond promptly to all Quality Assurance/Compliance/Revenue Cycle procedures of Burrell.

  • Cooperate fully with utilization review procedures and follow established procedures, policies, and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess at least Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field and at least 2 years of relative experience.

  • Requires Missouri state license as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • Leadership and/or supervision experience preferred.

Salary:​ $73,000 - $82,000 (based on license & experience)
